Nestled on the dunes of one of South Africa’s most premier beaches is this 1200 sqm home overlooking the Baya Formosa and it’s pristine coastal nature reserve. The brief was humble, calling for a family home that comfortable for four as it was for an extended family or group of friends.

The home is terraced on four levels all enjoying views over the ocean, the main bedroom was conceived as an almost standalone suite on the top floor enjoying privacy and exclusivity. The arrangement and the focus of the spaces is simple – a strong connection to the ocean and the horizon. Landscaping and interior design played a pivotal role and reflect strongly in the synergy of the final outcome.
